Technical Sergeant Justin Gaston is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Science at Detachment 130, based at Howard University, Washington, D.C. His area of responsibility covers 8 universities to include Howard University, Catholic University, Trinity University, American University, Marymount University, Georgetown University, George Washington University, and the University of the District of Columbia. This detachment serves and supports over 100 cadets with 5 staff members.

Technical Sergeant Gaston enlisted in the Air Force as an Airman First Class in September of 2006. He enlisted as an Aerospace Propulsion Journeyman. Sergeant Gaston has held many different duty titles such as Flight Line Supervisor, Engine Shop Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge and has been an Assistant First Sergeant. He is coming from his last duty station of Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona where he served as the Flight Line Supervisor in the 354th Fighter Generation Squadron.
