Captain Angela Cowan
Captain Angela Cowan is the Recruiting Officer and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Science in the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps, Detachment 130, Howard University, Washington, D.C. She is responsible for all facets of cadet training and discipline, including directing/supervising leadership laboratory, field training preparation, military discipline, and career guidance. She also teaches the AS300 course.
Captain Cowan recruits, trains, motivates and counsels highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force and Space Force officers.
Captain Angela Cowan commissioned through the Officer Training School. Her background includes overseeing a selectively-staffed space threat and analysis flight in service of the Space Test and Training Range and various Space Operation missions at Space, Air Force and Intelligence Community locations. Her assignments include bases in Colorado Springs and Texas. She has also supported joint operations overseas in Al Udeid, Qatar.
