Air Force ROTC

Detachment 130 is hosted by Howard University, located in Washington, DC.

We pride ourselves in having a corps of cadets that represents communities all over the United States with unique perspectives and experiences that help them become outstanding leaders for our Air Force.

The cadet corps is comprised of cadets who attend our consortium schools including American University, Catholic University, George Washington University, Georgetown University, Marymount University, Trinity University and the University of the District of Columbia.

In addition to academic classes, cadets participate in Leadership Laboratory each semester. Leadership Laboratory provides cadets an opportunity for hands-on leadership training and experimentation.

Choosing to participate in becoming an officer in the United States Air Force or United States Space Force will be one of the best decisions you can ever make!
